The highly anticipated Detroit Auto Show has announced the commencement of ticket sales for its 2023 event. Enthusiasts and industry professionals can now purchase tickets for the Technology Days, Charity Preview, and the Public Show through the official website, naias.com. This year’s show promises to showcase a dazzling array of “electrifying” and innovative products and activities and will be held at Huntington Place in Detroit.

The event organizers have also revealed that online media registration will open on Monday, July 24. Furthermore, details regarding the entertainment lineup for the Charity Preview will be unveiled soon.

According to Thad Szott, Chairman of the Detroit Auto Show, this year’s event will provide visitors with a unique opportunity to firsthand experience and learn about the electric vehicle (EV) movement. With a new indoor EV track and an expanded selection of street course ride-and-drives, attendees will have the chance to get behind the wheel of EVs or enjoy the experience as passengers. Szott also emphasized the significance of the show’s inaugural Mobility Global Forum, which will serve as a focal point for discussing new mobility solutions.

Szott further commented on the highly anticipated Charity Preview, describing it as a highlight of the auto show season and a testament to the charitable spirit of Detroit, particularly for the benefit of local children.

Technology Days: During Technology Days, attendees can preview emerging mobility technologies, engage with innovators, and participate in the Mobility Global Forum, a two-day executive symposium focused on the dynamic world of new mobility. The event will also feature AutoMobili-D, presented by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the Office of Future Mobility and Electrification, which will showcase technology companies, startups, and leading universities.

Charity Preview: The Charity Preview is a signature black-tie event that has raised over $123 million for children’s charities in Southeastern Michigan since its inception in 1976. Huntington returns as the Presenting Sponsor for this year’s Charity Preview. Beneficiaries for this year’s event include the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan, The Children’s Center, The Children’s Foundation, the Detroit Auto Dealers Association Charitable Foundation Fund, a fund of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, Detroit PAL, and the University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

Public Show: The Public Show offers nine days of exploration through new vehicle displays and exhibits at Huntington Place. Highlights include the Powering Michigan EV Experience indoor track, street course ride-and-drives, brand-specific tracks from Jeep, Ram, and Ford, as well as various interactive experiences.
