Pledging daily to be the person she says she needed when she was younger, the astute social entrepreneur, author and proud Detroit, MI native, Danielle D. Hughes makes it her mission to make an impact in the lives of youth across the nation. As a Dream Director, for The Future Project she is responsible for igniting passion, possibility and purpose into the young people she services in the Detroit Public School District (DPS) through one-on-one coaching and mediation. Her revolutionary work in education landed her a spot on the Forbes Under 30 list as well as being named one of the most influential African Americans by The Root.
