Just in time for Father’s Day, Detroit City Distillery has partnered with Fairway Packing Co. to create a gift package designed for dads who appreciate a good pour and an even better steak. The Detroit Bourbon & Beef Box: Father’s Day Edition combines Detroit-made bourbon with premium dry-aged beef, bringing together two staples of indulgence in one limited-edition release.
At the center of the box is a bottle of Detroit City Distillery’s Butcher’s Cut Bourbon Single Barrel, paired with two Prime Fairway ribeye steaks that have been dry-aged using the same bourbon. The collaboration leans into bold flavor and craftsmanship, connecting the distillery’s signature whiskey profile with Fairway Packing Co.’s reputation for high-quality cuts.
Each Detroit Bourbon & Beef Box also includes a custom Detroit City Distillery rocks glass and a bottle of Fairway’s signature Steak Salt, giving recipients everything needed to elevate Father’s Day grilling and cocktail hour alike.
The limited-edition boxes are available now for $175 through pre-sale only. Pickup will take place from Thursday, June 11 through Sunday, June 14 at Detroit City Distillery’s tasting room, located at 2462 Riopelle Street in Detroit’s Eastern Market. Shipping will not be offered for the release.
The collaboration will also be celebrated with a special Pre-Father’s Day Party on Saturday, June 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the tasting room. The event will feature both indoor and outdoor festivities, bringing together food, cocktails, and community ahead of the holiday weekend.
During the event, Fairway Packing Co. will grill its Chophouse Burgers on-site while also offering Burger Bundles for purchase, complete with burgers, buns, cheese, and steak salt. Detroit City Distillery will debut a specialty cocktail menu featuring ingredients supplied by Fairway Packing Co., creating a one-day-only pairing experience inspired by the collaboration.
While the Detroit Bourbon & Beef Boxes will only be available through pre-sale, guests attending the event will also have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of Butcher’s Cut Bourbon Single Barrel bottles separately for $60 each.
