Wayne County residents, how do you get around? Tell us.

Must read

The Michigan Chronicle is asking residents across the county to share how they move and what they need. It takes about two minutes, and it is anonymous.

Getting to work. Getting a parent to the doctor. Getting a student to class. How people move around Wayne County shapes daily life, and right now there is a real conversation happening about the future of public transportation funding across the region.

Wayne County voters will see a public transportation funding question on the Aug. 4 ballot. Before the conversation about what it means goes further, the Michigan Chronicle wants to understand something simple: how clearly is that question being explained, and what matters most to the people who live here.

That is why we are inviting Wayne County residents to take a short Community Pulse survey. It asks how you get around, what would make transit work better for your household, and how well the information you have seen explains what is actually on the ballot. There are no right answers and no wrong ones. We are listening, not lobbying.

The survey takes about five minutes. It is anonymous. And it is open to anyone who lives in Wayne County, whether you use public transportation every day, rode years ago, or have never set foot on a bus.

Your input helps us make sure the facts reach people in plain language, in time to be useful.

Take the Community Pulse survey here.
