Vice President Joe Biden Heading to Detroit for Labor Day

According to reports, Vice President Joe Biden will be in Detroit for Labor Day, or the second time in three years, he last participated in Labor Day events in Michigan in 2012.
Sources with knowledge of the planning for organized labor’s biggest annual event confirmed that Biden will speak after the Labor Day parade in Detroit.
The vice president is also scheduled to meet with local labor leaders during his third visit to Detroit this year. He was in the city in July to tour a training program with Mayor Mike Duggan and hold a fundraiser for Michigan Democrats.
