Established in 2012, Smart Realty is a full-service real estate brokerage company, with ten agents, specializing in single family investment homes, with over 500 closed transactions, since inception.
Smart Lending Group is one of the few minority mortgage broker firms in Michigan, and has originated over 23 million dollars in residential mortgages. As President of Smart Construction, Shawn Green partners with the Detroit Land Bank, Home Depot and investors throughout the city, renovating Detroit properties; one of which was featured on PBS program, “This Old House”. Shawn believes that being a spiritual and principled-based entrepreneur has enabled him to become a savvy and astute broker, whose vision is to provide an all-inclusive service platform for residential real estate sales and acquisitions.
Shawn’s gives credit for his success to his wife, two children; and guidance from his parents, extended family and business partners.
Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University, and Master of Business Administration from Baker College. His affiliations include Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Minority Supplier Development Council, Detroit Board of Realtors and West Indian American Association.
