Reasons Actor Michael Jace murdered his wife

The reason Michael Jace and his wife embroiled in a high-decibel argument that ended in her shooting death — while the children watched — is the same reasons most married couples fight and get divorced: money.
“The Shield” star felt under siege with financial problems so severe and traumatizing that the family was on the verge of being put out of their Los Angeles home and thrown into the streets. Probably the prospect of being homeless sent Jace over the edge.
Jace had already filed for bankruptcy in March 2011 to get reprieve from some of the financial burden he and his family were under.  He filed for Chapter 13, allowing him to restructure and reduce his mortgage payments.
Jace reportedly owed $411,00 on his home. For reasons that are unclear yet, Jace stopped paying his mortgage and was on the brink of a foreclosure sale, according to tmz.com.
Despite the bankruptcy agreement that provided him a more manageable set of monthly payments, Lace went delinquent again late last year.
As was previously reported by Atlanta Daily World, Jace called 911 last night and said he shot his wife in the face, killing her.
