One Black Family Owns Every McDonald’s in This City

The owners of 18 McDonald’s franchises in Compton, California are none other than a business-minded mother, Patricia Williams, and her daughters, Kerri Harper-Howie and Nicole Enearu. Williams became an owner and operator of a McDonald’s starting in the 1980s, the Black Enterprise reported.

Williams brought her daughters along, and they’ve carved a name out for themselves.

BlackBusiness.com reported that Williams, Enearu, and Harper-Howie are running a multimillion-dollar company while generating annual revenues of almost $50 million. In April 2017, the women reportedly opened their 13th franchise location, in addition to providing hundreds of jobs to the local community. They have since grown and multiplied, adding five more franchises to the mix. The women give back, too, through their nonprofit organization—the Williams/Enearu Organization.
