Lester finishes 5th at Watkins Glen in Rolex Grand Am race

The 2009 season is looking to become the best season for veteran road racer Bill Lester. The Atlanta resident picked up his second straight top five and fifth consecutive top ten as he teamed up with co-driver Ryan Dalziel to finish fifth out of a field of 32 cars at the Rolex Grand Am Crown Royal 200 held recently at the Watkins Glen Road Course in Watkins Glen, New York.

The fastest lap during the race for the two was time of 1:06.286. Lester has recorded top ten finishes this year at Virginia International (9th), Laguna Seca, California (10th), Daytona Beach, Florida (3rd) and two races at Watkins Glen (8th and 5th).
