Hermès in the Making will be open to the public from June 10th – 15th and will be located just behind their newly opened boutique in Troy (Somerset Collection). There are four focal points of the exhibition: Preservation and Transmission of Know-Hows, Respect of Exceptional Materials, Local Rooms and Territorial Responsibility, and Objects That Pass Through Time. These themes will be shown through various workshops including a silk craftsman printing demonstration, a screen printing animation mini workshop, a leather reparation demonstration as well as a leather and saddle making demonstration.
