Get fit for free at the Lexus Velodrome

Complimentary classes through April use less equipment

“The goal of Detroit Fit’s classes will be to challenge clients by using less equipment and to focus on the use of their body weight,” Gaither explained. “All fitness levels are welcome.”
The schedule for the free classes:
Ab Blast and Strength: Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m.

The Lexus Velodrome, located at I-75 and Mack, is a 64,000-square-foot multi-sport facility run by the Detroit Fitness Foundation. In addition to the fitness areas, the Velodrome features a one-tenth-mile (166 meters) cycling track with 50-degree banking plus a walking track. Championship cycling races take place every Saturday night and national competitions take place once a month.
