Best in Black Attorney and Elected Officials: Quality Counts

best in black
Recently, the Michigan Chronicle and Radio One announced the kickoff of Best in Black Detroit, a movement celebrating black owned businesses and professionals in Southeast Michigan. Since nominations opened July 13, thousands of supporters have cast their votes for the best attorney and elected officials.

Whether in the courtroom or in the community, it’s important to have proper representation. Every citizen deserves fair representation that corresponds with the needs and concerns of the community. When retaining an attorney or electing an official, the expectation is to have representation by someone who is able to provide a voice for individuals who normally would not have one.

Behind the scenes, these professionals are dedicated and truly invested in their communities. Having a lawyer or elected official like the ones nominated assures citizens a fighting chance.

Nominations are now open until August 7 until 11:59 pm. Voting begins August 12 and runs through September 4. All winners will be announced at the awards reception scheduled for late September 2016. Follow the conversation on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram #MCBIB16.
