Their battles were legendary during the first seasons of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but now the two former warring factions are collaborating on an ambitious spin-off show, reports state.
NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak’s, former epic “frenemies” who kept the earlier RHOA popping and turned the show into a weekly pop culture affair, have announced their doing a new show together, titled “The Road to Riches,” that will also air on Bravo.
“Atlanta’s ‘most driven’ housewives— NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak Biermann— drive out of their comfort zones and across the country to discover America on a one-of-a-kind adventure,” a statement from Bravo executives read.
“The road to LA may be paved with good intentions, but that doesn’t mean they won’t occasionally drive each other crazy.”
Both ladies shared the good news on their Instagram pages, posing for a picture dressed in all black.
Zolciak said: “It’s OFFICIAL!!! My girl @neneleakes and I are doing a show together! We are in NYC today together and made the BIG announcement!! We are so excited for ” Road to Riches”
Leakes could scarcely contain her excitement, writing on her social media page: “IT’S OFFICIALLY @kimzolciakbiermann and I have our own spin off show only on #BRAVO! We announced it today in New York City with our entire Bravo & True Entertainment family. Thank you for believing in us? we are about to hit The Road To Riches?”
The move marks a big change, since Zolciak once stormed out of a party with Leakes, saying at the time she “didn’t feel comfortable, safe, or happy about going in the first place.”
