Hundreds of parents and their children, as well as community supporters, attended the Detroit Parent Network 11th Annual Breakfast at the Marriott Hotel-Renaissance Center recently. The gathering allows leaders from the across the city to interact with educators on the most important issues concerning quality education in Detroit. Children who attend, as illustrated in the picture above, are given an opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities to help in both their academic and physical development. – Eric Hobson photos
