Today at 4 p.m., Wayne State University’s Sister 2 Sister, along with other organizations, will be hosting a rally and march down Gullen Mall in honor of Michael Brown. As a student organization on campus fighting for change, they believe this is their time to take a stand. United as one with the citizens of Ferguson, they are telling the justice system of America that the lives of our young men matter. They have value and are precious to us.
This rally will begin at the Law Library on Gullen Mall and will then march down to Warren. At the end of the walk, we will paint our school’s spirit rock in honor of the precious life that was stolen from the Brown family.
