Sing for a Cause Benefit Concert AIMS to Raise Money for DRMM Adopt a Family Program

MTJ Productions presents Sing For A Cause Benefit Concert, an effort to raise money for Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) on Saturday, October 19 at Ferndale High School. Doors open at 4:30 pm. Tickets are $30, available online singforacause.eventbrite.com.  

Billy Johnson, Creative Director, Sing For A Cause, has had the vision for this concert for 5 years, “It’s important that we recognize Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries as the foremost organization serving the homeless population in Detroit,” said Johnson. “DRMM has been changing the lives of homeless Detroiters for 110 years.”

In 2018, Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries over 16,000 people. Proceeds from the concert will go toward ensuring that the work of The Detroit 2019 Adopt-A-Family Program continues. Hosted by Shay OMyGod, Recording Artist Neisha Nashae will headline the concert. Also performing: Kimayana Reece, Frank Fisher, LeAndre, DJ Yeezy, comedian Mic Larry, rapper PDot, and R&B singer Katrina Carson. The concert will also feature its creative director, “Billy J”, who will perform his new single, “I Know.”
