Dr. Cleamon Moorer Jr., is a healthcare entrepreneur, author, educator, innovator, and TV show host dedicated to advancing health equity and community wellness.

Dr. Moorer’s companies have served thousands of patients over the years. His pioneering mobile vision care reaches underserved communities. He also leads American Advantage Home Care, expanding access to quality home health services across Michigan.

With 25 years in higher education, Dr. Moorer serves as Entrepreneur in Residence at Central Michigan University, where he mentors the next generation of business leaders. He previously served as a business school dean at three institutions and holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree.

Dr. Moorer launched The Home Health Care Today Show as a podcast in 2021. Today it is a television program on TV-20 Detroit, creating a platform for meaningful healthcare conversations every Saturday morning. He is also developing horeyesontal.ai, an innovative platform using artificial intelligence to revolutionize preventive care through retinal imaging.

A two-time TEDx speaker and bestselling author, Dr. Moorer has received numerous honors including recognition from Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the City of Detroit. He and his wife Nicole have 4 sons and reside in metropolitan Detroit, where they remain committed to transforming healthcare access for all.
