The Michigan Department of Transportation is hosting a virtual career fair to fill various jobs in the colder months.
The career fair will be held Oct. 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Michiganders can click here to register for the virtual career fair.
MDOT is looking to hire more than 100 limited-term, winter maintenance workers. Michiganders must have a valid Michigan Class B CDL to work as an MDOT employee.
Candidates will have the opportunity to gain knowledge about different roles and discuss any qualifications with MDOT personnel.
Training with be provided for the following positions:
Additional available positions include electricians, internships (including veterans, engineering, and Transportation Diversity Recruitment Program positions), transportation engineers, transportation maintenance workers (seasonal and full-time), transportation planners, transportation technicians, and other skilled trades and professional positions.
