Los Angeles Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Banned For Life

According to reports Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has been banned for life by the NBA in response to racist comments the league says he made in a recorded conversation.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver also says he will try to force a sale of the Clippers and also fined Sterling $2.5 million.
Silver called Sterling’s comments and views “deeply offensive and harmful.”
“As part of the lifetime ban, Mr. Sterling may not attend any NBA games or practices, be present at any Clippers office or facility, or participate in any business or player personnel decisions involving the team. He will also be barred from attending NBA Board of Governors meetings and participating in any other league activity,” said Silver.
If a vote is eventually taken among owners, Silver will need 75 percent of them on his side to finally force Sterling to sell the team.
