alex The Detroit Lions are making another change at kicker after releasing Alex Henery on Monday.
The release of Henery was expected after he missed three field goals in Sunday’s 17-14 loss to the Bills, including a 50-yarder with 26 seconds left that could have given the Lions the lead.
Henery, who replaced Nate Freese after he began the year 3-of-7 kicking field goals, missed four of his five attempts the last two weeks.
The Lions have missed eight field-goal attempts this season. The other 15 teams in the NFC have combined to miss 15.
The team will work out some kickers on Tuesday and is expected to sign someone after those workouts.
