Legendary actor and singer Jamie Foxx will be shuffling his feet and delivering a one-two knockout when he will be playing heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson in a new biographical limited series, Tyson, Black Enterprise reported.
The series is not presently affiliated with any network or streaming service, but it is expected to garner interest as Antoine Fuqua will direct and executive produce it through Fuqua Films. Hollywood producer/director Martin Scorsese is also executive producing via Sikelia Productions. Foxx, too, is an executive producer on the project.
“I have been looking to tell my story for quite some time,” said Mike Tyson in the article.
The project was initially supposed to be a feature film in 2014.
