Jason Dixon is the CEO of Strategic Alliance Community Development Corporation (SACDC), a Detroit-based nonprofit advancing smart city innovation, workforce development, renewable energy, and digital equity. A native Detroiter and entrepreneur, Dixon has built a career focused on transforming underserved communities through technology, infrastructure, and economic opportunity.
Through SACDC’s Route to a Smart City initiative, he is leading efforts to expand broadband access, workforce training, and community infrastructure across Detroit and Inkster. He is spearheading the redevelopment of a former municipal facility into a Smart Infrastructure and Workforce Development Hub focused on cybersecurity, fiber optics, renewable energy, and skilled trades training.
Dixon led the development of a $1.2 million solar energy project on Detroit’s west side and oversees NCCER-accredited workforce programs that connect residents to high-demand careers while promoting financial literacy and pathways to homeownership.
He serves as Director of Economic Development for the Detroit Realtors Association and Greater Metro Detroit Realtists and chairs the Economic Development Committee for the Wayne County Democratic Black Caucus. Through strategic partnerships, including long-standing collaborations with the University of Michigan, Dixon continues to champion equitable economic growth and create opportunities that strengthen communities throughout Southeast Michigan.
