Damon joined LISC Detroit in 2015, overseeing the 0% Interest Home Repair Loan Program, a $32M initiative between LISC and the City of Detroit. This model is considered the flagship program for housing preservation within LISC.
Damon became Deputy Director in 2020. His team led the Delray Home Improvement Program, a $3M home repair grant program between LISC, the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority and Bridging North America, under the CBA for the Gordie Howe Bridge and the Detroit Housing for the Future Fund, a $65M LISC managed private housing investment fund.
In his current national role, Damon leads the replication across the LISC network of the following programs: Home Repair Support, Developer Training and Capacity Building, Faith-Based and Mission-Driven Affordable Housing and Homeownership Opportunities.
