Staff available to assist constituents, take suggestions, answer questions
LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder’s Office of Constituent Services is continuing its mobile office hours to help address questions of Michigan residents and provide assistance with state government.

Representatives from Snyder’s mobile office will be at the newly revived Michigan State Fair Aug. 30 through Sept. 2 as part of a mobile office tour to assist Michigan constituents with any questions about state government. Staff will be available Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Labor Day.

“This is a chance for residents to ask questions and talk with representatives from my office,” said Snyder. “We want to make government as accessible as possible, so if you have questions, issues or concerns, please stop by our booth. We’re here to listen and help.”

Staff will be available to answer questions, provide information and assistance, as well as take suggestions regarding current government issues affecting Michiganders, communities and businesses.

Important topics for discussion include but are not limited to the state budget, the ongoing reinvention of Michigan and opportunities to get involved in state government. No appointment is necessary. The mobile hours are in addition to regular office hours of Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Lansing.
