Ford Fireworks Set to Light Up Detroit River with Spectacular Summer Show on June 24

The much-anticipated Ford Fireworks will illuminate the Detroit River on Monday, June 24, at 10 p.m. This year marks the 66th edition of the dazzling display, which promises to transform the Detroit skyline into a canvas of vibrant colors, drawing hundreds of thousands of spectators to downtown Detroit.

Recognized as one of the largest and most impressive fireworks shows in the United States, the Ford Fireworks is produced by The Parade Company and will be broadcast live on WDIV-Local 4.

“The Ford Fireworks inspires awe and excitement in Detroit and well beyond with a magnificent fireworks display lighting up a truly iconic American skyline,” said Tony Michaels, president & CEO of The Parade Company. “We are once again honored and privileged to work with the amazing team at Ford Motor Company to bring the people of Detroit and our region this incredible event for the 66th year.”

“Ford is proud to be a longtime partner of The Parade Company and to support one of the most cherished events of the summer,” said Mary Culler, president, Ford Motor Company Fund. “We look forward to bringing everyone together again to celebrate and honor America, our great city, and the people and communities that make Detroit so special.”

The Parade Company, responsible for producing the Ford Fireworks, meticulously curates the musical arrangement and collaborates exclusively with Zambelli Fireworks to deliver a world-class spectacle comprising over 10,000 pyrotechnic effects. These effects will be visible for miles along the Detroit River. This year’s theme, “Color the Sky with Sunshine,” ensures a vibrant and memorable experience, free and open to the public with prime viewing locations at Hart Plaza, Belle Isle, and beyond.

For those seeking an elevated experience, limited tables and tickets are available for the Ford Fireworks Rooftop Party presented by Ford Motor Company. This exclusive event offers the best seats in the city, live music by Your Generation in Concert, catering by Andiamo, games, giveaways, and more. All proceeds from the Rooftop Party benefit the Michigan Thanksgiving Parade Foundation. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.theparade.org or call 313-923-7400.

In addition to the live broadcast on WDIV-Local 4, the event will receive special radio coverage from 760 WJR with Paul W. Smith. For further details on The Parade Company’s events, visit www.theparade.org, and follow the event on social media using the hashtag #fordfireworks.
