So eight folks from Michigan made the esteemed Forbes magazine’s list of folks who have way more money than most other folks can even conceive of. Two of those folks, Dan Gilbert and Mike Ilitch, are essentially in the process of remaking downtown Detroit and the surrounding area in their own image.
So yes. It’s true. Money does indeed talk. And it’s loud. Deafening even.
