Cornerstone Schools children to enjoy Tiger’s game

tigersEvery year, more than 3,000 people fill the Detroit Tiger’s stadium for a night of fun and baseball for Cornerstone Schools’ Be A Tiger For Kids event.

In its tenth year, this annual event raises dollars for more than 500 children attending Cornerstone Schools from preschool to high school.

“We’ve had this on-going partnership with the Detroit Tigers and we have really created a following and a good support base for this event,” said Cornerstone Schools Director of Institutional Advancement Andy Anuzis. “This event helps parents who are making the decision right now about bringing their children to Cornerstone Schools.”

The baseball game will take place on Tuesday, August 25 at 7:08 p.m. and the Detroit Tigers vs. Los Angeles Angels will take to Comerica Park’s field.

You can support the children of Cornerstone by making a minimum donation of $60 to attend this event. With your donation you’ll receive a commemorative t-shirt, a voucher for a hot dog, pop and chips and access to the Be A Tiger For Kids Hospitality Plaza providing Pepsi products, ballpark snacks and activities for children, including he opportunity for your child to run the bases after the game.
