For the 2014 holiday season the Michigan Chronicle is partnering with One Warm Coat and the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries to bring warmth and kindness to fellow Detroiters.
From Dec. 1 to Dec. 12, you can drop off your gently used winter gear at the Michigan Chronicle located at 479 Ledyard or the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries located at 150 Stimson St.
Survivors of Polar Vortex 2013, are uniquely aware of the need to be prepared and dress properly during the winter months. If you would like to participate in the coat drive, pick- up arrangements are available.
