LOS ANGELES — The music world has descended upon LA Live and the Staples Center area in downtown L.A. for one of the highest-rated and most anticipated musical extravaganzas in the world, the 2015 BET Awards.
Most in particular, along with the musical performances by the likes of R&B bad boy Chris Brown, Janelle Monae, Ne-Yo and Meek Mill, musical royalty Janet Jackson will be receiving the highest award BET can deliver, the Icon Award, and officially makes her comeback after a self-imposed six-year moratorium from the industry — and from the spotlight for that matter.
