Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Angelique Turner attended Bates Academy and Cass Tech. She then went on to receive a Bachelor of  Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Michigan. Turner is currently an Industrial Engineering (IE) Manager and Workplace Organization Pillar Lead at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. She has worked at FCA for the past seven years holding the positions of Stamping IE, Assembly IE Supervisor, and Stamping IE Supervisor.

As a mother of 3, Turner aims to be a role model to her daughters and other young girls to show them that women can be leaders in STEM careers. Her passion lies in working with inner city youth on financial literacy and STEM. She has volunteered as a JA Finance Camp youth financial mentor; Autism Alliance of Michigan volunteer; Automation Workz; and annual STEM DAY panelist to name a few.

Turner serves on the education ministry as a sacred arts instructor at her church home, The Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Relying on her faith to help her through life, she lives by the motto “The Difference Starts with You.”
