Shawn Smith

Shawn is a native of Detroit, where he attended Detroit Public Schools.  After graduating high school, Shawn attended college where he played football and ran track.  Shawn graduated from Ferris State University where he earned his Bachelor ofScience in Accounting.  While a student at Ferris State, he became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.  Shawn is a husband and father of four, three daughters and a son. 

Shawn is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Fraud Examiner.   In addition to Shawn’s professional job as a Manager in the Health Care Industry, he also works in the NFL as a game official.  Shawn recently was selected as the Referee for Super Bowl LX.

Shawn credits his personal and professional success to his ability to work well under pressure, collaborate with others, keen attention to detail, allegiance to integrity and being objective.
