Dr. Curtis L. Ivery, Chancellor of Wayne County Community College District and son, Marcus Ivery will debut their book Black Fatherhood: Reclaiming Our Legacy this Thursday, October 30th, 2014. This book signing event will take place from 5-7 p.m. at the Detroit Athletic Club located at 241 Madison Avenue in Detroit. A major focus of this one-of-a-kind book, is the rebuilding of the African American family unit and the values that create and hold them together. The hardcover book is priced at $19.95 and is available at Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com and all Wayne County Community College District book stores. Proceeds from the sale of the book will go to The Wayne County Community College District Student Scholarship Fund.
