This luncheon highlights some of the most influential African American Women in Metropolitan Detroit. “BLACK WOMEN RISING” which is based on Maya Angelou’s poem, “And Still I Rise,” includes special keynote speaker Carla Walker-Miller, President and CEO of Walker-Miller Energy Services and Mistress of Ceremony Donna P. Stallings, Councilwoman of City of Lathrup Village.
