15-Year-Old Education Expert Jaden Smith Urges Kids To Drop Out Of School

Jaden Smith (pictured), the son of actors Will and Jada, reportedly attacked the U.S. educational system in a Twitter[1] rant relayed to his nearly 4.6 million followers about how society would be better off “if everybody in the world dropped out of school.” Now concerned parents are in an uproar because the pint-sized actor and his “too cool for school ‘tude” is reportedly influencing his school-aged followers, according to US Magazine[2].

Jaden reportedly sent out the following tweets, encouraging kids to stop going to school:

Jaden, who is reportedly home schooled, is the product of a bohemian upbringing as his mom and dad have been very open about their untraditional parenting philosophy. Will recently told Haute Living[8]magazine, “I think that, specifically in African-American households, the idea coming out of slavery, there’s a concept of your children being property and that was a major part that Jada and I realized with our kids. We respect our children the way we would respect any other person. Things like cleaning up their room. You would never tell a full-grown adult to clean their room, so we don’t tell our kids to clean their rooms.”

There were also recent rumors that Jaden was seeking legal emancipation from his parents. Jaden’s 12-year-old sister, Willow, has also come under fire for alleged inappropriate lyrics for her racy current hit “Summer Fling.”

Will has denied the emancipation rumors.

So how does all of this talk of dropping out of school sit with his parents Will and Jada?  Well, neither one of the Smiths have responded thus far to their son’s anti-academia tweets.
