Young People Travel Global Edge Launches International Sisterhood Circle Program to Empower Young Ladies in Africa and Unlock International Opportunities

Young People Travel Global Edge, a renowned organization dedicated to creating the next generation of global citizens, has announced the launch of their new program, International Sisterhood Circle. This program aims to empower young ladies in Africa, foster their commitment to community service, and unlock international opportunities for them. The International Sisterhood Circle program is an extension of the broader platform offered by Young People Travel Global Edge, which focuses on exposing African-American youth to international travel, leadership development, entrepreneurship, education, careers, cultural immersion, and sports.

In November of this year, a group of accomplished businesswomen from diverse sectors in Detroit will embark on the inaugural international sisterhood mission. The delegation will be traveling to Kenya and Ethiopia to engage with local African businesswomen, dignitaries, and identify young ladies with whom they aim to establish enduring relationships.

Leading the mission is Sanya Weston, the CEO of Your Premier Travel Service and founder of Young People Travel Global Edge. With more than 35 years of experience in planning and organizing travel excursions, Sanya is a third-generation business owner who has been an entrepreneur and community leader in her beloved Detroit community for more than half of her life. Her extensive experience and dedication make her the perfect leader for this mission.

In March of this year, Ms. Weston was deeply moved by her visit to Kenya.  Inspired to make a lasting impact, she decided to channel her passion into educating and empowering young women.  That’s when the International Sisterhood Circle was born – a worldwide initiative fostering sisterhood, solidarity, and empowerment among women globally.  This movement creates a secure and encouraging environment where women unite to exchange experiences, stories, and wisdom, uplifting and motivating one another on their journeys.

It provides a safe and supportive space where women can come together to share their experiences, stories, and wisdom, supporting and inspiring each other along the way. This movement encourages women to embrace their unique identities, backgrounds, and cultures, and use their voices to drive positive change in their communities and beyond.

Through events, workshops, and online platforms, the International Sisterhood Circle connects women from diverse backgrounds and cultures, empowering them to work together toward creating a more just and equitable world for all. The movement also raises awareness about global issues affecting women, such as gender inequality, violence against women, and access to education and healthcare.

As part of this year’s delegation, the International Sisterhood Circle will bring much-needed products to the women they will meet in Kenya and Ethiopia while also sharing valuable information with young women who are either in business or aspiring to be in business.

Sanya Weston, the CEO of Your Premier Travel Service and the founder of Young People Travel Global Edge, expressed her excitement about the upcoming mission, saying, “I am honored to lead this dedicated group of businesswomen on our inaugural International Sisterhood Circle mission. Our aim is to empower young ladies in Africa, foster their commitment to community service, and provide them with international opportunities that will help shape their future. Donations towards this program are also welcome as they will enable us to reach and empower more young ladies in the future.”
