Sheila Marshall

Sheila Marshall is the Chief Operating Officer of Forgotten Harvest, where she sets the organization’s operational direction and turns strategy into action across food sourcing, distribution, logistics, and facility operations. Appointed COO in 2024, she plays a pivotal role in strengthening performance, streamlining systems, and accelerating Forgotten Harvest’s reach across Metro Detroit.

With nearly 30 years at Meijer, Sheila built a distinguished career in operational leadership, progressing through multiple management roles to serve as a Market Director in several Midwest states over time. Her leadership of complex retail operations and large teams across different markets shaped a results-driven, people-first leadership style grounded in community impact.

Before assuming the COO role, Sheila served as a Food Sourcing Specialist at Forgotten Harvest, gaining firsthand insight into the region’s hunger-relief landscape. Known for her collaborative approach, bold problem-solving, and passion for innovation, Sheila is driven to create a more resilient, food-secure future for communities across Metro Detroit.
