She has held the position of Agency Chief Financial Officer of the Detroit Fire Department, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the City of Detroit and is currently the Director of Finance of the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, where she is responsible for overseeing complex financial operations, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring organizational compliance.
