LaShanda Davis

LaShanda Marzet Davis is an accomplished public finance executive, strategist, and civic leader with more than 30 years of progressive experience in non-profit, municipal government, and operational leadership. She has held the position of Agency Chief Financial Officer of the Detroit Fire Department, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the City of Detroit and is currently the Director of Finance of the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, where she is responsible for overseeing complex financial operations, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring organizational compliance.

Recognized for her expertise in financial management and reporting, revenue optimization, and large-scale program implementation, including emergency response and infrastructure funding initiative, she is deeply committed to fiscal accountability, transparency, and supporting community revitalization.
