Will Smith was promoting his newest movie, Suicide Squad, on the Jimmy Fallon show when the subject of racism was broached.
The Academy Award-nominated actor made an interesting observation that has not been spoken publicly very often. Smith suggested that racism in America is not worse than yesterday or even yesteryear. Racism has always been a constant in America. The only difference today, Smith states, is that it is “being filmed” because of the luxury of modern technology.
