Wendy Williams made a rare public appearance during New York Fashion Week.

On Tuesday (September 16), Williams attended LaQuan Smith’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear runway show. Williams donned a full head-to-toe LaQuan Smith look, featuring a cropped black-and-white fur jacket. All eyes were on Williams as she was greeted at the event with a standing ovation and flashing cameras.

William’s public appearance comes amid her continued legal battle over her guardianship. In 2023, Williams was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and aphasia. The former daytime talk show host recently underwent a medical evaluation that reaffirmed her dementia diagnosis, according to reports.

During Tuesday’s NYFW event, Williams told TMZ that she felt “like a zillion dollars.” Fans flooded social media with support for Williams amid her recent outing.

“They snapped on the hair & makeuppppp 🙌🏽,” one Instagram user commented.

“She looks so pretty and happy ohh I miss Wendy 😍😢,” another person wrote.

“Wendy looks GOOD ok . I am so happy right now 😍,” a third user said.
