The following construction activities are scheduled for the weekend beginning Friday,
September 13, and ending Monday, September 16. As always, some of this work may be
postponed due to inclement weather or any unforeseen circumstances.
I-75:
In Oakland County, southbound I-75 will have two lanes closed OVERNIGHT from Giddings
Road to Squirrel Road from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. starting Friday night and ending Monday
morning for maintenance work.
In Oakland County, the southbound Joslyn Road entrance ramp to northbound I-75 will be
closed from 4 a.m. until noon on Saturday for repairs.
In Oakland County, southbound I-75 will have a right-lane closure from Crooks Road to Long
Lake Road from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for maintenance.
I-275:
In Oakland County, southbound I-275 will have a right-lane closure from 9 Mile Road to 8 Mile
Road from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for maintenance.
I-96:
In Oakland County, westbound I-96 will have two lanes closed nightly from Novi Road to Kent
Lake Road from 8 p.m. on Thursday until 5 a.m. on Friday, and again from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
on Friday and Saturday for resurfacing work.
I-696:
In Macomb County, the eastbound I-696 ramp to eastbound I-94 will be closed from 10 p.m. on
Friday until 5 a.m. on Monday for resurfacing of eastbound I-94. A detour will be posted
directing traffic to northbound M-3 (Gratiot Avenue).
In Oakland County, the right lane of eastbound I-696 will be closed at Telegraph Road from 6
a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for maintenance work.
I-94:
In Macomb County, eastbound I-94 will have double-lane closures, while westbound I-94 will
have a single-lane closure between Masonic Boulevard and I-696 from 10 p.m. on Friday until 5
a.m. on Monday for resurfacing work. In addition, the eastbound I-94 ramp to 12 Mile Road will
be closed during the same time.
In Detroit, westbound I-94 will have a left-lane closure from I-75 to Woodward Avenue from 7
a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday for road repairs.
In Wayne County, eastbound I-94 will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. on Saturday until 5
a.m. on Monday, while westbound I-94 will have one lane open from 1 p.m. on Saturday until 5
a.m. on Monday at Telegraph Road for pavement repairs.
