USA Fencing is pleased to announce that Detroit will host seven of the eight national events during the 2016-17 fencing season.
The October North American Cup Division I, Division II, Cadet, Wheelchair, Senior Team is scheduled to compete in Detroit Oct. 7-10th at Cobo Hall.
Mycah Slade a 16-year-old senior at Cass Tech High School has been fencing since she was eight years old.  Slade’s fencing style is Foil and this weekend she will be the only high school competitor from Detroit competing on Division 1 and Division 2 level.
