On May 27, 2015 Urban Cinema premiers the movie “Like Fathers Like Sons” the next generation comedy starring Ian Winans, the son of Carvin Winans of the legendary Winans Family and Mason Pryor, the son of the legendary comedian Richard Pryor.
Producers, Alex R. Thomas and Randy Holloway unite to bring this hilarious film to the theater on May 27, 2015 at the Star Southfield for a star studded evening. Under the collective film project “Urban Cinema” the two was able to bring several companies together for this unique experiment in filmmaking. The tour has now expanded to include others cities in Michigan, Grand Rapids, Flint and Toledo Ohio.

Now we have another stable of filmmaking coming or of the city of Detroit. Comedians Ian Winans and Mason Pryor share the spotlight with several comedians from the city: Martini Harris, Jay Bell, Marci Stifter, Ruben Ruben, Katrice Thomas, Sandro Rodrigues, Mano G, Khurum Sheikh, and showcase several recording artist R.I.M.I., Kristal Marie and B. Ryan along with billboard charting producer, Big Huss and singer, Arielle.
