University of Michigan player Jabrill Peppers, a sophomore linebacker/defensive back, is being considered for college footballs highest honor, The Heisman Trophy.
Peppers, a Montclair, New Jersey native, is one of the five finalists being considered for 2016.
Louisville Quarterback Lamar Jackson, Clemson Quarterback Deshaun Watson, Oklahoma Quarterback Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma Wide Receiver Dede Westbrook are the four other finalists.
The Heisman Trophy award ceremony takes place on December 20 in New York City.
