Two Detroit Events Encourage Residents to Vote This Weekend

Detroit Votes 2022 – a nonpartisan voter information campaign designed to provide Detroiters with the information they need to plan ahead on how and when to vote in the November election – is organizing two events – one in Northwest Detroit and one in Southwest Detroit – to encourage Detroiters to learn and take advantage of early voting options.

Those include 13 satellite voting locations (“Early Vote Centers”) in neighborhoods across the city. There, Detroiters can receive, fill out and securely submit their absentee ballots now through Election Day, in addition to the options of mailing their absentee ballots or submitting them through 20 security-monitored drop boxes, if they would like to vote early.

A full list of options and locations is available to Detroiters at detroitvotes.org.

These two events will provide Detroiters with information and entertainment to celebrate national Vote Early Day in Detroit.

Early voters at the NW Detroit location are inviting Detroiters eager to learn more about early voting options beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday October 28 at the Northwest Activities Center, 18100 Meyers in Detroit and at Clark Park, 1030 Clark Street in Detroit.
