TOLEDO, Ohio (WWJ) – Blackjack, roulette, poker and plenty of slot machines will be available south of the border, starting today. Toledo will open its first casino at 2pm.
The Hollywood Casino has an old Hollywood theme with giant black and white photos of late stars like Humphrey Bogart. But Director of Table Games, Neal Perry, says it will cater to the sports nut, too.
“You’ll see a TV, you turn to your right, you’ll see a TV,” Perry said. “One thing for sure, you’ll never be able to miss any sporting event or any highlight cause we have over 220 TVs in this whole casino.”
Local cover bands will perform live free music seven nights a week.
