Tigers Win 8th Straight, Bonderman Returns

Bonderman last pitched for the Tigers on October 1st, 2010. He then retired after having Tommy John surgery. Eventually, he got the itch to pitch again and attempted a comeback with the Seattle Mariners. He was 1-3 for the Mariners this year with a 4.93 ERA.
We will see if Bonderman can be an answer for the Tigers bullpen. The Tigers sent down Evan Reed to make room for Bonderman. Meanwhile in Toledo, Jose Valverde continues to pitch and has allowed five runs in his last seven appearances. Reliever Octavio Dotel has been throwing off a mound recently, and has a chance to return this season.
Jhonny Peralta has more than likely played his last game for the Tigers. The Biogenesis suspensions are expected to be announced Monday afternoon but Peralta will continue to play until they are announced.
The World Series favorite Tigers take their three game divisional lead into Cleveland for a four game series.
