Tigers Ticket Information For Rescheduled ALCS Game 4

DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) – Game four of the American League Championship Series between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers was postponed until 4:07 p.m. Thursday after a storm front on radar delayed the game Wednesday night.

Tickets for Wednesday’s game marked ALCS Home Game #2 are now valid for the game to be played on Thursday, Oct. 18.

Tickets marked ALCS Home Game #3 are now valid for Friday, Oct. 19 at a time to be determined. If the Yankees force a game five, it will likely be a day game as the NLCS already has a game scheduled for Friday night.

The Tigers, trying to return to the World Series for the first time since 2006, lead the best-of-seven series 3-0.

There is a chance of rain in Detroit during at least parts of Thursday and Friday, but the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies later Thursday that would allow the teams to play ball.

The first pitch Wednesday ni
ght was slated for 8:07 p.m., but an approaching storm caused officials to delay the game.

A radar forecast for the Detroit area was eventually posted on the scoreboard video screen, as if to explain to fans why there was no baseball despite what was still pleasant weather at the ballpark, the Associated Press reported.

After about 90 minutes, the game was called off for good. Rain started to fall nearly 15 minutes later.
