“This House is Being Watched” signs being posted

In anticipation of this year’s Angels’ Night, neighbors across the city are posting signs to deter would-be arsonist from targeting vacant homes.
Last year’s Angels’ Night and Halloween weekend saw 97 fires reported.
Since Angels’ Night inception, crime and arsonist activity has been on a steady decline. In the year of 1984 there were 800 fires reported – prompting the infamous name Devil’s Night.
