The “She Is” Project, announces the project’s inaugural experiential affair, The “She Is” Project Personal Branding Event and Expo, Saturday, October 26 at the stunning Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit, MI.
The “She Is” Project is a social and experiential movement that celebrates and educates young, entrepreneurial women who have successfully developed their personal brands via social media. “The “She Is” Project Branding Event and Expo is a one-day experience that will prove to be both educational and great girl fun!”, says Founder, Carlotta Tutt Holloway.
Guests will learn from, and get up close and personal with some of the nation’s top multicultural bloggers, vloggers, and YouTube sensations in the fields of beauty, hair, fashion, and health and wellness, including lifestyle and natural hair guru, The KG Lifestyle and the queens of looking stylish on a dime, Thrifty Broads.
Social media and personal branding expert Olivia Omega will also be on hand to chat about best practices and how to excel in promoting your brand via channels such as YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. The fun-filled day will consist of beauty, style, and health and wellness lounges, plus an interactive panel chat and demos with the experts and social media mavens.
Guests will also enjoy testing their YouTube video fortitude, in the StyleLine Magazine Social Media Lounge. Shopping will ensue with sponsor merchandise, plus a Shop Detroit Local Marketplace sponsored by D:hive, but guests will also leave with plenty of complimentary swag.
DJ Lauren Hood will liven the affair with her soulful trip-hop vibe and guests will enjoy live musical entertainment as they mix and mingle. More than 200 people are expected to attend the event.
