The LEE Group (TLG) is proud to host the 11th Annual Small Business Workshop, presented by Comerica Bank. This year’s event, themed “Thriving Through Uncertainty: Strategies for Resilience,” will take place on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Corner Ballpark – Detroit PAL, 1680 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI 48216.
Admission is free. This year’s theme brings together business experts, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to share actionable strategies for navigating today’s rapidly evolving business environment. As businesses grapple with rising uncertainty—driven by shifting federal policies such as new tariffs, funding freezes, workforce reductions, and heightened immigration enforcement, this workshop provides timely guidance and support.
According to the National Federation of Independent Business, uncertainty among small business owners has reached one of the highest levels since tracking began in 1986. The pressures are mounting—particularly for Michigan’s small businesses, which are disproportionately affected by economic disruptions and rising costs.
“In times of uncertainty, coming together to share knowledge, strategies, and support isn’t just valuable—it’s essential,” says Mark S. Lee, President of The LEE Group and Founder of the Small Business Workshop. “Workshops like this empower small business owners to navigate challenges, adapt to change, and uncover new opportunities for growth.”
